The Final Straw

A raspberry-lime margarita with a salt-and-sugar rim to balance the mood.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz Blanco Tequila
  • 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • ¾ oz Agave Nectar (or Simple Syrup)
  • 5-6 Fresh Raspberries (muddled)

Method
 

  1. Prep the Glass: Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass and dip it into the salt/sugar mixture. Fill the glass with fresh ice.
    Muddle: In a cocktail shaker, gently muddle the fresh raspberries with the agave nectar until broken down.
    Shake: Add the tequila, lime juice, and a handful of ice. Shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until very cold.
    Strain: Double-strain (to catch the raspberry seeds) into your prepared glass.
    Finish: Garnish with the raspberries and lime wedge as seen in the photo.
